–the key to success is to focus on goals,not obstacles-
–Experience-Sismo 2020 was held at 1 of febuary 2020.My experience in sismo was super fun and amazing,because not only i get to learn alot of new things about maths but also i get to meet alot of new people from other schools.I was intermediate and i would actually love to go again to SISMO.
–Registeration– We had to register first before coming in to the MPH,which was the place that sismo was held.All the students had to come extra early to register first.But some students were late because on that particular day it was raining really hard so some people were late that day.
-24-it was a really intresting game.We were given 5 card and u had to either multiply or plus 2 cards which the total is 24.I didnt chance to win this but whenever people won this game.they got a price which was an red envelope filled with money and u had to guess how much was inside,you can either get 5,10,15,20,50 or 100 rupiah.Alot of students got either 5 or 10.
-Round 1-We started round 1 at 09:15 to 10:15 which is 1 hour and 15 minutes.For me it was particularly hard and I couldn’t do alot of questions but i always learned from my teachers even though i cant do it guessing should be fine,rather than leaving it blank so thats what i did.
-Round 2-After the break it was time for round 2.The paper for round 2 was actually easier than round 1,we were given 1hour and 30 minutes.Because i saw alot of trigonometry which i actually kind of enjoy it,even though there were harder topics like combinatorics,complex numbers and polynomials it was the same as round 1 which also had those chapters.
-Kahoot-Who doesnt know kahoot,almost everybody knows kahoot and does kahoot.We had to play kahoot,either we could play solo or a group of two.I played with my friend phoebe and it was fun even though we didn’t get top 5 but surely it was fun.The winners were one student and the other 2 was teachers.This kahoot game was super fun even though i didnt win but i like it.
-Winning ceremony-It was sad that sismo had to end but everyone was also happy because they were announcing the winner of each group Junior,intermediate and Advanced.Some students were dissapointed that they didnt get the medal but im sure they can try harder when sismo is helded again.I was particularly happy seeing my friends winning the medals either it was gold,silver or bronze.Im still happy seeing them with those medals
